The Distortion Flame is a block in Draconic Evolution. It counts as an opaque block, but has a transparent model. This apparent contradiction acts as a rendering glitch or an X-ray hack, allowing a user to see through any surface a Distortion Flame is placed against. This is not used to uncover ores or simple blocks; it is used to locate underground structures (Mine shafts, Fortresses, etc.).
Once a Distortion Flame has been placed, it can only be retrieved with a Draconic Pickaxe. If broken in any other way it will be destroyed.
