The Electric Dynamo is a machine added by GregTech 6. It is a converter that turns rotational power (RU) into electricity (EU).

Usage[]
Single-block Electric Dynamos all produce 11 EU per 16 RU used. The multiblock Dynamos have a better efficiency.
The nominal power input is different for each variety, and is shown in the tooltip.

The Dynamo will fail to operate, noisily, if given less than half the nominal RU input. It also fails to operate, noisily, if given more than twice the nominal power input. If overloaded 100 times, the Dynamo will instead short out, destroying itself and damaging nearby entities.
Electric Dynamos can be rotated with a Wrench, showing the helper grid, to any orientation. They are harvested intact with a Wrench (when holding down the left mouse button).
