The Empty Spray Can has multiple uses, the most functional being GregTech 5's version of the IC2 Painter. It can be used to paint 128 Blocks in world. Paintable Blocks are Pipes, Cables and Machines from Gregtech and also IC2 Cables.
The Empty Spray Can can also be filled with Strong Poisonous Brew, which is Gregtech's version of Vanilla's Potion of Poison II. This will create the weed killer for IC2 Crops called Weed-EX.
