The Engineer's Skyhook is a mobility tool added by Immersive Engineering that enables the player to ride along wires, ropes and cables up to great distances. Using it on a mid-air line connects the player to it, and from there they'll ride down the line with gravity unless they use their movement keys.
The player can also get ahold of a line by using the Skyhook on a Wire Connector or Structural Cable Connector with a line attached.
In older versions, the player had to hold their use key to stay connected.[Confirm this isn't current]
