The Essentia Mirror is a transparent block added by Thaumcraft 4. It is used in pairs; the second mirror must be right-clicked on one placed somewhere in the world to link it before being placed. Once linked, the mirrors will be able to stream essentia from Warded Jars to the Infusion Altar when an infusion is underway. The mirror is able to take essentia from jars within an 8 block radius of the direction the mirror is facing or must be within 12 blocks of a Runic Matrix and Infusion Altar.

Magical mirrors are very useful for transporting items over long distances, but what if that same principle can be applied to essentia? You think you have discovered a way to do just that.

Essentia mirrors, like their name implies, can transport essentia in the same way that magic mirrors transport items. There are a few important limitations however. You cannot pipe essentia directly into the mirrors - they are only able to transport essentia that has been drawn from a source towards something like an Infusion Matrix.

In effect the mirrors allow these things to draw essentia from sources via the mirror.
