The Flux Scrubber is a block added by Thaumcraft 4. When energized with
centivis it will slowly remove Flux Goo and Gas within a 16 block radius of itself. When Flux is removed there is a chance for the Flux Scrubber to convert that into 1 unit of
essentia that can be collected on its bottom side.

Even the most skilled thaumaturge occasionally leaves a mess in the form of flux. It is a nuisance everyone has to deal with, but this machine removes the drudgery involved.
The flux scrubber, when powered with aer vis, will slowly remove any form of flux within 16 blocks of where it is placed. What is more, it is able to reclaim a small portion of the magic that makes up the flux in the form of praecantatio essentia.
It's [sic] internal buffer is very small and it will continue operating even when full, so it must be emptied if you wish to reclaim all the essentia.
