The Golem Animation Core (Decanting) is an item added in Thaumcraft 4. When attached to an inventory that stores liquid, the golem will fill it up with sources of liquid radiating from a selected tile. Its liquid carrying capacity is determined by 0.1 * Material Carry Capacity.

Golems fitted with this core will attempt to keep the liquid inventory they are attached to filled with an appropriate liquid.
If you wish, you can specify what liquid it places in the tank by accessing the golems [sic] interface and placing a liquid container (like a filled bucket) in a slot. All other liquids will be ignored.
A decanting golem can only carry 100 mb of liquid per item its material type is allowed to carry, though they will always carry a full bucket if instructed to pick up liquid blocks in the world.
It will only search as far as its sight range allows, and the distance is measured in actual blocks searched to get to the target block and not a straight line.

If you fit this upgrade the golem will first try and pick up the furthest possible fluid block attached to any you have marked.
