The Lionfish is a hostile mob added by Upgrade Aquatic. They are found near coral in warm and unfrozen ocean biomes. Lionfish Buckets can be purchased from the Wandering Trader.
Behavior[]
Lionfish swim around, looking for Tropical Fish to chase and kill. After getting a successful kill, they will become mostly idle for a period of time before resuming their hunt. If approached or hit by another entity, they will become hostile and attack it, inflicting Nausea and Poison. Lionfish will apply their debuffs upon contact with another entity, like Pufferfish.
Drops[]
The Lionfish always drops itself and will apply Nausea and Poison debuffs when eaten raw, but it is a meat with a high saturation value when cooked. Lionfish have a 5% chance to drop Bone Meal. It can be captured in a Bucket, which can be used as a trap in a Dispenser due to its aggressive nature.
