The Magnetizer is a machine in IndustrialCraft 2 that can be used to propel the player vertically upwards.

When Iron Fences are connected to a powered Magnetizer in a column, any player wearing metal boots that approaches the column will be thrown upwards.

The Magnetizer can have up to twenty Iron Fences attached both the top and bottom of the machine, allowing a single Magnetizer to cover a forty block range. When ascending from the top of the Magnetizer, if unimpeded, propulsion can add up to ten blocks of height to the trip, so care must be taken to avoid falling damage. A block placed at the top of the Iron Fence column can prevent the added propulsion from affecting the trip. When ascending from below the Magnetizer, the machine itself will stop the player.

While operating, the Magnetizer will use approximately 2 EU per tick. The Magnetizer's internal battery can hold 100 EU, plus 15 EU for each Iron Fence attached to it. A single Magnetizer can make use of a total of forty Iron Fences at once, therefore, the upper limit of EU storage for a Magnetizer is 700 EU.

The Magnetizer can only handle Low Voltage Energy; any more than 32 EU per tick will cause the machine to explode violently if used with a pre-experimental version.
