The Obsidian Staff Core is a wand component added by Thaumcraft 4. It is used to create Obsidian Staves. It is capable of holding 175 vis of each primal aspect and has an affinity for
, naturally restoring it up to 18 points if it is ever depleted beyond that amount without the need for tapping Aura Nodes.
