The Red Hook is a hook added by Hooked. It can reach its maximum range of 24 blocks in 1 second and pulls the player at a speed of 20 blocks per second. Up to 4 hooks can be active at once. The player can freely travel between the hooks, allowing them to effectively fly in a small area.

When using the Red Hook the player is granted free movement akin to creative flight within the volume defined by the planted hooks. The pseudo-flight provided by the Red Hook differs from creative flight in a few aspects. First there is no drift, so precise positioning is easier, second there is no slowdown when mining blocks (as with all hooks), and the movement is somewhat slower than creative flight. The allowed movement areas are demonstrated below.
One hook - movement along a line extending downward from the hook
Two hooks - movement along a line between the hooks
Three hooks - movement on a triangle between the hooks
Four hooks - movement within a tetrahedron between the hooks
