Ring of Arcana

ModEquivalent Exchange 2
TypeTool
Energy
EMC value3,742,844 EMC

The Ring of Arcana is a tool from Equivalent Exchange 2. It combines the functions of the Ring of Ignition, Zero Ring, Harvest Goddess Band, and Swiftwolf's Rending Gale. It can also be used to turn Dirt into Grass, or a Bucket of Water into Ice, using shapeless crafting.

Due to it having so many functions, it needs to have separate modes. There are four modes, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green. Though, there are functions the ring has while in all of these modes. Double-jumping will cause flight that does not consume any EMC. The user will be immune to fire damage when the ring is in their inventory.

Blue mode will function like a Zero Ring. Using the tool will shoot a snowball. When activated, snow will be placed in a 9x9x9 cube area around the player, water will turn to ice, and lava will turn to obsidian.

Red mode will function like a Ring of Ignition. Using the tool will shoot a fireball that sets a 3x3 area on fire on collision, or, if it is sand, turns a 5x5x5 cube into glass, or, if used on obsidian, turns the obsidian into lava. When activated, everything within a 9x9x9 cube around the player will be set on fire, as well as any entities within this range. Releasing the charge will place a line of fire that is 3x61x1.

Yellow mode will function like a Swiftwolf's Rending Gale. Using the tool will shoot a projectile that causes a brief lightning storm, at the cost of 2 Glowstone Dust, or equivalent in EMC. While activated, it will repel mobs and projectile entities within 5 blocks radius.

Green mode will function like a Harvest Goddess Band. Having the tool in the player's hotbar will increase crop growth rates. Using the tool on the ground will plant 9 plants from the user's inventory in a grid. On sand, cactus will be planted with 4 blocks in between each cacti. On grass, saplings will be planted with 3 blocks in between them. While activated, mature plants around the player will be harvested. It follows the same harvesting pattern of the Harvest Goddess Band.
