The Steam Exosuit Chestpiece is an armor piece added by Flaxbeard's Steam Power. This armor piece is worn in the chest slot, and is part of the Steam Exosuit set of armor. It can have be upgraded in the Engineering Table, with Exosuit Plates, Exosuit Upgrades, Tanks, and dyes. It has two slots for upgrades: a back slot, and an arm slot.
Its armor rating, steam usage, and functionality are dependent on the upgrades that are installed into it. Most upgrades for all pieces equipped will not work when installed unless there is a tank installed in this chestpiece. The player will be slowed down if there is no steam in the tank.
