The Auto Hammer - like the Ex Nihilo Hammers - will convert Cobble into Gravel, Gravel into Sand, Sand into Dust (Ex Nihilo) - operations that convert 1:1 (with no Fortune Bonus), as well as smashing Ex Nihilo Ore Gravels into Ore Sand, and Ore Sands into Ore Dusts - which have a chance at each stage of increasing the yield, with Fortune increasing that chance.
