Templates should be categorized in their documentation to avoid cluttering up categories with both templates and their documentation. Use this template when categorizing templates in their documentation.
This template can only be used in the Template namespace. If in any other namespace, it will add the page to the hidden category, Pages using templates in the wrong namespace.
Use the following table to decide what category to put the template into.
Parameters
- 1: Category name.
- 2: (Optional) Category sort key.
- 3: (Optional) Prefix. Use ":" as this argument to display the link, quite useless as you can use Template:C, unless you only want the link to display on the transcluded documentation.
